GNHC Conferences

Health care professionals, educators, elected officials, community leaders and anyone committed to improving lives in Newark are invited to attend to learn about local initiatives, participate in a discussion
of best practices, and create partnerships to advance a culture of health.

Conference sessions will highlight work in community health on topics such as childhood asthma, increasing health literacy, using data to inform policy, accessing healthy activities and exercise, and mobilizing to create a safer and supportive Newark. Community forums in the South and West wards are planned for the fall and spring to further advance the discussion.
